Codes of Conduct Statement

Cub Scouting is a program based on guardian/son participation. It is the policy of the pack that a guardian accompanies the scout on all pack activities. Guardians will also be asked to participate in den-level activities from time to time.

The Cub Scout program is a privilege, not a right, for those boys and their guardians willing to accept the high standards of scouting with the required behavior. The pack's Code of Conduct is necessary to ensure that scouting's high ideals are followed by all of our participants. The following Codes of Conduct have been set with the safety and best interest of all the boys in mind.

Codes of Conduct

  1. Always attempt to be on time.
  2. When wearing the scout uniform, wear it with pride.
  3. Always behave and follow instructions.
  4. Always Do Your Best.
  5. No use of alcohol or tobacco products is permitted while at scout functions.
  6. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  7. Destruction of public, private or personal property is strictly prohibited.

Disciplinary Procedures

Failure to follow the established Codes of Conduct shall result in the one of the following disciplinary procedures.

  1. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will result in a warning, followed by a time-out or removal from the activity. In cases of repetitive behavior, guardians may be called to pick up the scout.
  2. Destruction of property will result in the guardian being called immediately to pick up the scout. Guardians of scouts are financially responsible for the actions of their children.
  3. At the Den leader's discretion, guardians may be required to attend den functions with the scout.
  4. Den leaders have the right to exclude a scout from their den for reasons of conduct.
